Marlin family,

I wanted to give a huge thank you to all of the parents and families who made today special. I had no idea of the surprises in store for me today when I came for my first practice in my tenth season as the FoxCreek head coach, and was blown away by all of your generosity.

I'm incredibly humbled and appreciative of all of the stories and words of gratitude shared on Facebook today as well; reading through each of them reminds me of why I love coaching the Marlins. I'm so proud of how our every individual on our team has grown through my time here, not just as swimmers but teammates, leaders, and overall kind and wonderful young men and women. I also love the pictures; I can't believe that some of those young Marlin swimmers from my early years as a coach now serve as assistant coaches, senior helpers, and role models for our team.

I've truly been blessed to work with the greatest swim team and swim families I ever could've asked for over the past ten years, and hope to continue to lead you all the best I can.
